Is it safe to use finasteride (Propecia™) and/or minoxidil (Rogaine™) while using iRESTORE?Updated 7 months ago

Low-level light therapy (LLLT) may be used in conjunction with many types of approved hair loss treatments. However, it is not required to use the iRESTORE device with another form of treatment in order to achieve results. Many physicians have reported that laser therapy can stimulate cell metabolism and can be used in conjunction with other hair care products or hair loss treatments for enhanced results and faster recovery rate.

We offer a high-quality, drug-free product line with the REVIVE Growth Activator Serum, REVIVE Thickening Shampoo, REVIVE Thickening Conditioner, and REVIVE DHT Blocker Formula. You can learn more about them by visiting our online store.

This article, published by the International Journal of Trichology (IJT) discusses a study of low-level laser therapy on male and female patients who suffered from androgenetic alopecia (genetic hair loss). Patients were studied for up to 24 months, and "no adverse reactions were reported." They concluded from the study that "LLLT represents a potentially effective treatment for both male and female AGA [androgenetic alopecia], either as monotherapy [by itself] or concomitant therapy [along with other treatments]. Combination treatments with minoxidil, finasteride, and LLLT may act synergistic to enhance hair growth."
